Independence cow camp

Just a few years ago there were several standing buildings. A recent fire took care of what was left. Now all that remains are foundations and burnt logs. Cow camps were just that. A place where the cowboys could stay while monitoring the herds, working fence lines etc. Nothing fancy, just a place to bed down.
