Some people claim this town was vandalized and all the weathered wood was removed to decorate a few rich peoples houses. After looking around I almost believe them as there is not much left to see. At least they did take the mill wood. A nice house in the woods and a close look around and you can find a few remnants of the town. This was like several other small camps close to big producing mines. These camps never really grew into much of a town. They were just a convenient place to live close by the mines. Champion, Lone Star and Bluebird Mines.
